Elsewhere 4 round offers an alternate method for progressing through The Crystal Crags. It is slightly longer but it allows you to leave The Crystal Crags 1 sooner, if you find that level is not to your liking.

Walkthrough

The easiest way to complete this elsewhere is to collect the Iron Knight helmet hidden in a passage to the right of where you start and climb up and over the central hill. Be aware that a wall of spikes will shoot downwards from the top of the level a couple of seconds after you trigger the evanescent block at the start and be careful of the two fireballs at the end of the round.

Secrets

• Jump at the starting position to reveal an elevator. This will take you to a prize block containing a coin, but be careful, if you're not quick to jump off, the lift will crush you against the ceiling!

• Near the top of the hill if you jump to the left there is a hidden passage containing an ankh. There is a similar passage on the right hand side, but that one only contains a diamond.
